Your role

Each year, ExxonMobil Australia offers challenging internship opportunities to a number of students across various Engineering & Data Science disciplines. Successful candidates can expect to work on real-world projects in a dynamic team environment, supported by some of the industry’s best technical and commercial professionals.

The program will be based at their head office in the Melbourne CBD, or at the main processing facilities such as Long Island Point in Hastings, Longford Gas Plants in East Gippsland, or the Altona and Yarraville terminals in Melbourne. The internship has the flexibility to accommodate different work arrangements, including part-time although full-time completion is preferred.

About you

Here's what they are looking for in this role:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, in any Engineering discipline or Data Science, and are in their penultimate or final year. Graduates will also be considered. A strong academic record will be highly regarded
  • Capable, highly innovative students who display initiative and drive
  • Able to demonstrate maturity, sound judgement and excellent interpersonal skills through prior leadership and team roles
  • Willing to question and identify improvements with a collaborative attitude
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
