Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
  • Assist in the production of social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
  • Assist in the management of Polaron's website.
  • Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the marketing team.

Requirements:

  • A recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in media, marketing, business, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Basic image and video editing and graphic design skills.
  • Previous experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and social media management tools is also a plus
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Excellent organization skills

The location of the role is based in St Kilda, Victoria

Entry Requirements
2 year duration

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher-level qualification, in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.

1.5 year duration

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher-level qualification, in a business or related discipline from a recognised tertiary*

OR

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher-level qualification, from a recognised tertiary institution in any discipline plus a minimum of two years relevant work

OR

The RMIT Graduate Certificate in Marketing^.

^Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate you will have the opportunity to progress to the Master degree.

*If your qualification was completed more than 10 years ago you will need to provide evidence of ongoing professional work and/or professional development in the same discipline as the program for which you are seeking entry to be granted advanced standing.

  • Australian bachelor degree or equivalent, or higher level qualification, in business (or a related discipline);

    OR
  • Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in a non-cognate discipline, plus at least three years relevant management work experience;

To study this course you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests:

  • IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
  • TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
