Disability Support at Sydney Water

Creating a more accessible and inclusive work environment for people with disability is an important component of Sydney Water commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Sydney Water supports people who have a disability and provides reasonable adjustments in consultation with the team member.
  • We are proactive in offering wellbeing and mental health support to employees through the My Wellbeing, My Way program, which provides access to free counselling services for employees and their immediate family members.  
  • Training for people leaders in how to respond to mental wellbeing issues and sessions for employees on mental health awareness, as well as online resources developed with the Black Dog Institute. 
  • We have a network of Wellbeing Champions who serve as the local ‘go-to’ people for each business area and play a vital role in increasing awareness and participation in initiatives, as well as generating solutions aligned to Sydney Water’s Wellbeing Strategy.
