Diversity networks enable staff from different backgrounds to come together. They create a safe space for staff to share experiences, ideas and connect.

The NIAA has 6 diversity networks, whose main goal is provide support and connection to employees in the network. Your level of involvement is up to you: you can join an email list, take part in network events, or join a network committee and help organise network events.

NIAA’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Network aims to promote opportunities to support the success and inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the NIAA. The network is integral to the NIAA’s efforts to create a more inclusive and diverse workplace. 

All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees in NIAA are encourag​ed to join in any capacity they feel comfortable. We are here to support each other, share information and celebrate successes.
